A bulk action is an activity performed by a user, by selecting multiple items in a list view and then performing an action on all items at once. For example, selecting a group of tasks and setting them to complete.

What is a Security Barrier?

A security barrier is an additional piece of security configuration alongside permissions, which adds an additional layer of security to a particular item. For example, when an approval is sent out the person who has requested the approval cannot approve the item themselves.

Feature Configuration

Access this global feature at Launchpad > Admin > Features > Manage Global Features. Search for bulk assign.

This global feature enables the checking of security barriers when bulk assigns are being performed. If this feature is disabled then security barriers will not be checked when bulk assigns are performed.
