ShareDo uses regional settings to ensure that dates, times, numbers, and currencies are displayed in a way that makes sense to each user. These settings are important for accuracy and clarity, especially when teams work across different regions.
How to Change Your Regional Settings
To update your organisation’s regional settings in ShareDo:
- Go to Modeller > Global Features and search for Regional Settings. This will only show if the Include Advanced switch is on.
- Ensure the feature is enabled, then click the cog icon to open the settings.
- In the Regional Settings blade, set the Time Zone and Culture Code to match your organisation’s requirements.
Time Zone
The Time Zone setting controls how dates and times are displayed.
- Example: A case deadline saved as
2025-10-20 14:00 UTCwill appear as:- 15:00 for a user in Europe/London (when daylight saving is active).
- 16:00 for a user in Europe/Paris.
This ensures that meetings, deadlines, and events always appear in the correct local time for each user.
Culture Code
The Culture Code defines the formatting rules for dates, numbers, currencies, and sometimes language.
- Example (en-GB - English, United Kingdom):
- Date format:
20/10/2025 - Currency:
