You can make a participant role manually assignable in Modeller. It is important to check this if you want to be able to manually assign your selected role on your selected work-type in the UI.

If you are not able to add a participant from your work-type, this is the most common reason.

1. Open Launchpad > Modeller > Participant role modeller > Roles.
2. Select the participant you want to be manually assignable and click the Action burger menu.
3. Edit Sharedo Ownership > Select the work-type which you want to make manually assignable and click the burger menu.
4. Edit > check the Manually Assignable checkbox.
