ShareDo provides the ability to upload data into the system using a data source-to-ShareDo mapping capability. This functionality supports uploads from CSV and Excel formats that comply with the data format configured in the Data Load - CSV and Excel feature.
The system provides the capability to define data templates that can be used to map data and ships with a number of pre-configured templates. Configure the feature either using Modeller > Global features, or Admin > Features > Global Features.
Key Concepts
Global Feature
The data load functionality is enabled in your application via a global feature. The Data Load - CSV and Excel feature also allows you to view the out-of-the-box data table templates and define new data table templates.

Data Table Template
Data table templates are configured in the Data Loads - CSV and Excel global feature. These templates provide different upload capabilities, for example, Users, Personal Injury Valuation Guidance, and Document Assembly Templates. The actions menu allows you to edit, disable, delete, run, or download a sample template for each type of upload, depending on the template's configuration. Only custom (non-system) templates can be deleted.

You can view the details of the data load and provide a data sample if needed by clicking Edit in the actions menu.

The Sample Data area allows you to provide a data sample by toggling the yes/no button and selecting the sample. Upload a file containing an example of the data or select a system data sample using the drop-down.
Adding a Data Table Upload template
You can add a custom data table template by clicking the +Add button (refer to Figure 1). Doing so opens the Data Table Upload blade - the title changes when you enter a name, in this example: Claims Upload.
