This global feature is a sharedo legal feature that allows you to enable the specification of settlements for legal cases. For example in a road traffic accident case there may be a negotiation over a final settlement.

Access this global feature at Launchpad > Admin > Features > Manage Global Features. Search for settlements.

This feature allows you to view the accounts that are involved in settlements, specify possible settlement outcomes and also the availability of the settlements feature on different legal matter types.
