Case Explorer Portal Widget
What Does the Widget Do?
The Case Explorer widget displays a list of related cases and the case network. You can also add sections based on a search scope.
Configuration Settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
With Chrome | Will display your widget as a self-contained tile with a title and functional buttons. |
Title | Title must be provided if With Chrome is switched on. |
Icon | The Font Awesome icon that will be displayed next to the title on your widget. |
Sections: Title | The title of the Section Header. |
Merge items with previous section | Enable this to list this section as part of the previous section. |
Collapse section by default | Collapses the section so that only a title is visible till the section is expanded. |
Hide section if no items | Allows you only to show the section if there are any related cases. |
Section type | This defines the search that will populate the widget. |
Search scope (when section type = Advanced Search) | Define the search scope that will be used to determine the cases that are shown in this widget. Search scopes can be viewed in modeller > search scopes. |
Use closest ancestor of this type for search context | When running the search, use an ancestor to base the search on. For example, if the work item is placed on an invoice, you may wish to run the search for other items created under the parent contract only. |
Limit relationship types (when section type = Linked items) | Defines the relationship types that will be displayed in the widget. |
Allow adding item(s) | If enabled this will allow the user to add a related case via this widget. The item must already be a pre-existing piece of work in the system. |
Search scope for adding item | Defines the search scope that can be used to add an existing work item as a related item. Search scopes can be viewer in modeller > search scopes. |
Filter Persona | Defines which personas will see the widget in the UI. |
Filter Phase | Defines which phases the widget can be seen in, if not defined it will default to 'visible in all phases'. |
Filter Features | The widget can be aligned to a feature so the widget is only shown when the feature is enabled. |
Filter Security | The widget can be aligned to a permission so the widget is only shown to users with the specified permission. |
