Point release: v7.1.0

Overview

We’re pleased to announce the next point release of sharedo – version 7.1.0 – is in general availability as of this morning, 16th August 2022.

This release is a minor increment on the 7.0.0 release in July with several enhancements and defect fixes. The most notable new feature in 7.1 is the formal release of the visual workflow modeller, which is now in general availability and supported. 

The 7.1 release also incorporates all the 7.0.1 rollup patches which were released last month. 

Key enhancements since 7.0

  • New time recording events to trigger workflow in response to time entries being created, submitted, revised and approved. 
  • A new generic export toolkit within visual workflow to allow staging CSV/TSV/PSV data for exporting to files in the DMS. 
  • New format time recording configuration (codes, classifications and categories) is now fully supported in solution import/export. 
  • 16 new or enhanced workflow actions for visual workflow including 
    • Support for key date update events
    • New “Overdue” outlets on tasks
    • Tag support on task creation
    • Support for adding reminders to tasks 
    • Variable creation UX simplified 
    • Ability to clone visual workflows 
    • Ability to clone actions within the workflow design canvas 
    • Better connector routing in the design canvas 
    • Choice support for action plan items 
    • Consolidated task action absorbing call to action and action plan item creation 
    • Work instance query toolkit – check if a process is or has already been run 

Defects resolved since 7.0 

  • Total of 47 defects resolved 
  • Many around finance and visual workflow designer 
  • 8 security related issues patched 

Rollup of 7.0.1 patches included in 7.1 

  • 26 defect fixes in various areas including; 
    • Various work item merge issues resolved 
    • Several finance related fixes 
    • Several visual workflow fixes 
    • Issues with OAuth refresh token flow for iManage connections resolved.
