This global feature is a sharedo legal feature that allows you to enable the specification of offers made on legal cases. For example in a road traffic accident case there may be a offer made by one side to another to settle the case. Access this global feature at Launchpad > Admin > Features > Global Features. Search for offers.

Offers are a work type and new offer types can be configured in the work type modeller.

This feature allows you to view the accounts that are involved in settlements, specify possible settlement outcomes and also the availability of the settlements feature on different legal matter types.

Offers can be split into offers made and offers received. Separate configuration exists for both directions of offer.

Offers can be added onto a work type by checking the enable button next to the work type.

Once enabled for a work type you can further configure the work type define which types of offers can be made e.g. alderbank, goodwill etc. You are also able to restrict in which phases of your matter offers can be made.
