Work Scheduling

The Work Scheduling settings card allows a configurator to define how a work item's lifecycle is calculated. Work Scheduling settings are mainly relevant to Task work types (including key dates) and are available on the work type modeller page: Launchpad > Modeller > Work types. Open a work type on its General Settings page.

Due Date Settings
Due date linking behaviour

It is possible to link the Task due date to the start or end date.

  • Linked to expected start (but can be overridden): the start date remains synced with the due date.
  • Linked to expected end (but can be overridden): the end date remains synced with the due date.
  • Not linked
Phase model
Phase plan This section shows links to the linked phase plan.

Note that these settings affect how items are rendered on the Plan Widget.

Key dates normally have their end date linked to the due date, and do not track duration.
