Locking down access to Suppliers & Client Management

When integrating with finance applications, it is common to lock down the creation of entities such as suppliers or clients so these can be mastered within the finance system.

While not a dedicated finance feature per se, Clio Operate enables this through role restrictions while configuring party types. Party types represent a categorisation of people or organisations, examples being clients or suppliers.

For more information, see the Configuring party types section of the Understanding participant types article.
